Do you want to be more
productive Would you like to learn how to create a professional business letter in Word? Purchasing a computer is the first step. Learning how to properly use your computer is the next step. We have put together a special Microsoft Office Boot Camp to get you started. Our Boot Camps are specifically designed to make you more proficient, and more productive with your computer in a short period of time. What is a Boot Camp? It's essentially a shotgun seminar for someone who either (a) doesn't have the time for a long, six-week course, or (b) doesn't have the budget to spend several hundred dollars on computer classes. Boot Camps are designed to teach you the maximum amount of material in a short period of time - and all at a price that's very reasonable. Since the seminar is not hands-on, we can cover three times the material as in our standard classes. The Boot Camps are also an excellent tool to gauge your level of computer skill, and what courses you should take at a later date. They're great for learning tips and tricks, new techniques, and other "how to" material. Who Should Attend? The Boot Camps are perfect for just about anyone except first-time computer novices. We do assume you have a basic level of understanding of how to use a computer, and you are proficient with basic Windows techniques (using the keyboard and mouse, for example). Whether you are a business professional, home user, or someone who just wants to learn more about your computer, our Boot Camps are for you. Our Microsoft Word Boot Camp - for example - is great for someone who knows a little Word, but wants to learn the cool tips and tricks to make his documents really stand out. How Long is a Boot Camp? The Boot Camp is a full-day class. We begin at 9:00 am and cover Word and Excel in the morning. Then, we break at noon so you can go get lunch. We resume at 1pm, and learn Access, PowerPoint, and Outlook in the afternoon. We're done at 4:00 pm. The instructor usually holds a question & answer period until around 4:30. Where are the Boot Camps? All training is done at our Computer Training Center in Amherst NY. We are conveniently located near the 290 exit at Niagara Falls Boulevard on Ridge Lea Drive. When are they Held? We hold a new boot camp roughly once a month. Click here to check our schedule. We usually hold a new Boot Camp of some sort every week. If you are interested in enrolling 6 or more students in your own custom Boot Camp, we can schedule it to meet your requirements. How Much is Registration? The Microsoft Office Boot Camp is just $99 per student. We do offer a quantity discount for multiple students. For 2 or more students, the rate is $59 each. Registration includes enrollment for the seminar, and an outline of topics covered in class. For an additional $10, you can also purchase a copy of the Boot Camp Training Video on CD-ROM. Every Boot Camp comes with a coupon to receive your entire Boot Camp enrollment fee towards one of our standard hands-on classes. For example, if you sign up for a Microsoft Office Boot Camp at $99, you receive a coupon to get $99 towards our Microsoft Office Complete hands-on course - essentially making the Boot Camp free.
