AMICRON DICE ROLLER

We built this dice roller to work with a wide variety of games, including D&D and other role-playing games. It's very simple, but functional.

Dice Roller is written in Microsoft Visual Basic 5.0, so you will need to have the VB runtime files on your computer. We did NOT bundle the files with this download, because most people already have them, and we wanted to keep the file small. If you download this program and it doesn't work, you'll need to install a program that comes with the VB runtime files, such as our NetBackup or Popup Killer programs.

The program is simple to use. Just click on the picture of the die you wish to roll, and the result will be generated in the box below the die. 

If you wish to generate multiple dice rolls, like 3d6 (rolling a six-sided die 3 times), just change the number above the die. You can do that by either clicking on the number and typing a new one in, or by double-clicking on the number to increment it.

You can also roll the dice by using the following numbers on the keyboard:

If you are interested in the actual rolls themselves, you can click on Options > Show Actual Rolls and the values of the individual dice rolls will be displayed. This is handy, for example, if you want to roll 4 dice and drop the lowest one.

You can also click on the Quick Rolling option to turn off the simulated number cycling.

That's about it. Dice Roller is a real simple program to use. I hope it brings you hours of enjoyment free from dice.
