| ASP (Active Server Pages) is a technology to take databases and develop Web pages around them. In class, we will build a sample company database using Microsoft Access. We will then take that company information and build a Web-based interface for it. It is strongly recommended that students take both our Access Basics Course and Web Page Developer Course prior to enrolling in this course. The pre-requisites for this course are Windows Basics, Internet Basics, our Web Developer Course, and Microsoft Access Basics. Students should have a good understanding of how to use Windows, and a computer in general. Students should also have much experience online with the Internet and the World Wide Web. Students should have developed basic Web sites using Microsoft FrontPage. Students should understand how to build a database with tables and queries in Microsoft Access. | ||
