What is WebEvents?

WebEvents is a service that allows you to add a dynamic list of events to your web site without the need to know HTML or how to edit a web site. You can add, change, or delete events right from your web browser with our user-friendly interface. WebEvents will also keep your events listing current by not showing any events that are more than a week old. 

WebEvents will also allow you to keep track of your visitors by generating an opt-in mailing list. You can send bulk-email notices of changes to your events calendar right from WebEvents. You can even use WebEvents to track your entire mailing list, and send out periodic email broadcasts to your entire list.

Who Uses WebEvents?

WebEvents was initially designed by Amicron Computing to be used by the Buffalo Convention Center. We have since modified our software to service anyone's web site. Any business or non-profit organization is welcome to sign up for a free WebEvents account.

Why Should I Use WebEvents?

If you or someone in your office is currently taking the time every month to update a "coming events" list on your web site, you know how time-consuming that can be. Furthermore, the person who is updating the web site has to know how to write HTML, or use a web-editing program like FrontPage. In addition, you have to make sure to update your events list every few weeks, or else your list becomes filled with old events. WebEvents makes editing your events listing easy. Anyone can update your events list using WebEvents' easy-to-use interface. WebEvents will also maintain your list, so that old events (more than a week old) will not be shown. In short, WebEvents makes your web site easier to maintain.

In addition, WebEvents can manage your Email database so you don't have to. Visitors to your web site that view your current events list can opt-in to have their email address added to your database. When you send out your email notices,  WebEvents will track your prospects (people who click on your site for more info) and will instantly remove people who want to be taken off your list. WebEvents handles it all for you - automatically. 

How Much Does WebEvents Cost?

WebEvents is FREE. Again, any business or non-profit organization is welcome to sign up for a free WebEvents account. In exchange for using our service, there is a small bit of advertising which will be displayed at the bottom of your WebEvents page. That's it!

How Do I Set WebEvents Up on My Site?

It's easy to set up WebEvents on your site. All you really have to do is create a hyperlink to a special page we will set up for you. That's all. Optionally, you can set up WebEvents in a "frame page" so that visitors don't feel like they've left your web site. If you don't know how to create a hyperlink or edit your web site, we can set WebEvents up on your web site for you, for a small charge. Even if you have minimal web page design experience, you should be able to set it up, however.
